DANGER ROOM :
Two Danger Rooms were created in the X-Men history. The first one was locate in
the main dining area, though insufficient security often resulted in accidental
entry and activation. As the Mansion it was destroyed.
the Rebuilding of the complex heavy use of Shi'ar Technology was incorporate in
the Mansion itself, but also in the Danger Room. This had the advantage of
maintaining improved safety check to prevent serious injury, and allowed
incorporation of holographic projector. These projectors are of Shi'ar design,
and create image of incredible believability. They are used to supplement
threats and test presented by the room. A jungle-gym of bars to test agility,
and colosso (and others Robot) can be made to appear like Sentinel or other
super-powered foes. The walls themselves can be concelaed (hiding the safety
button) to enhance the believability of the simulation.
Danger Room in its upgrade form has all the abilities, traps and tricks of the
old Danger Room but much more improved. In addition, these Traps can take a
various of form and appearance to mask their true nature. As before, the
intensity or potential damage is kept within the known range of the heroes
abilities, or one rank higher.
Shi'ar technology also include gravity control, allowing the room to duplicate
weightless environment and the condition of other planet. Like the old version,
the improved Danger Room has been known to malfunction, increasing its potential
damage or creating nightmare simulations for those within. The complex Danger
Room was build using a very rare Alien Material which protects the whole place
with unearthly capacity. Major Battle can take place in the Room and no one else
in the whole Mansion shall be disturbed.
Danger Room is protected by the same security system as the other sub-basement.
