The elder half-brother of the mutant daughter of Wolverine named Wild Thing, Sabreclaw bears a striking resemblance to Wolverine's long-time nemesis, the savage mutant Sabretooth..
Sabreclaw had originally teamed-up with Enthralla, but after the combined forces of J2, Magneta, and Wild Thing defeated them Sabreclaw went on to join the team called the Revengers - a group of villains who all sought to exact revenge on various members of the next generation of Avengers, A-Next. Later, Sabreclaw was recruited by Crazy Eight to join the Savage Six, a team of villains bent on getting revenge on Spider-Girl.
