Squadron Supreme
History
The energy vampire Lamprey was a member of the Institute of Evil before being behavior modified by the Squadron and invited to join the group. Lamprey reverted to his original homocidal self when Master Menace and the Redeemers reversed the behavior modification. He attacked the Squadron savagely in their confrontation with the Redeemers, draining Hyperion's strength and killing Blue Eagle by draining his anti-gravity wings. Lamprey died when he tried to absorb the unleashed energies of Dr. Spectrum's power prism on top of all he had already absorbed and exploded.
