- Immortal: His aging process is greatly retarded and he can apparently regenerate injured or missing cells from even near-fatal injuries
- Rapid Healing: Ability to endure injuries (within unknown limits) without lasting harm or even feeling pain such as knife wounds.
- Enhanced Strength
- Bone Spikes: Absolom's mutant physiology allowed him to remold his skeletal structure in order to extend razor sharp spikes of bone through his skin. He could then manipulate these spikes to stretch to incredible lengths.

History
Not much is known about the mutant known only as Absolom. During his early history, he lived as a petty thief in Midwest America of the 1800's. His mutant powers and External nature manifested themselves when he was hanged for murder. His subsequent activities, including how he joined the other Externals, remain unrevealed. Absolom joined the Externals in most of their gatherings in recent years, until the group was betrayed by Selene. Absolom died when Selene absorbed his life force.
