I let my own weight go limp and before we both went into the water, he let go. I dropped in and he flew back up. I surprised him by not coming out in true form. but in human form instead. he never forgot that and when I tried it the next time, he was ready... that's how he was. always ready for the unexpected when Pandemonium took my life, it was my brother that made the deal with him in agreement for me to be brought back. Tarthos was at first a mortal enemy to me as were entirely different. I can not say that I made things easy for him when I first met him, but he was patient and took the time to teach me that not all of the Chronometric dragons were bad, that some had good hearts after all. Tarthos was a good friend and a shoulder to cry on when any of us needed. He was the kick to our arse when we got out of line. Or the pat on the back when we succeeded at something we had been trying to do. You will be sorely missed friend, but your memories shall live on in our hearts always. I know that he will be looking down at us all, knowing that We all loved him no matter that He was a Red. His wisdom was given and he knew you would listen to it. And yet, as I was wary of him, and had time to watch him, I realized that my misconception of him was very far off. He was everything that a Red dragon is traditionally not, he was Honorable and Kind, Loving and generous to those he called friends, and respected by those who were his foe.
